Welcome to Buena Vista High School!
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the proud principal of Buena Vista High School. As a product of the Chino Valley Unified School District, having attended CVUSD schools from kindergarten through 12th grade, I have a deep personal connection to the community we serve. My commitment to Buena Vista is especially meaningful, as I previously had the privilege of serving as a teacher on this very campus. These experiences have shaped my passion for public education and strengthened my appreciation for what makes Buena Vista such a special place. Above all, it is our unwavering commitment to recognizing the potential in every student and providing them with the opportunities and support they need to succeed.
At Buena Vista, we believe that every student deserves an opportunity to succeed. Our small classroom settings allow us to create a supportive and personalized learning environment where every student is known by name, valued as an individual, and provided with a pathway to graduation tailored to their unique needs. Proudly serving students from all four comprehensive high schools in the Chino Valley Unified School District, we have established a tradition of success, consistently achieving a graduation rate of 90% or higher.
What makes Buena Vista truly special is our belief in the power of second chances and new beginnings. We recognize that past academic struggles do not define a student's future. Instead, we challenge our students to learn from those experiences, embrace the support available to them, and approach their education with a renewed sense of focus, purpose, and determination.
Our goal is not simply to help students earn a diploma, but to equip them with the confidence and the skills necessary to find success both inside and outside the classroom.
At Buena Vista, we embrace a powerful reminder: "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." We believe that every student has the ability to change the trajectory of their future, and we are committed to walking alongside them as they do.
Once a Falcon, Always a Falcon!
