Student Supports Are Available Through the Summer...

Summer is almost here, and as we move closer to the end of the school year, we would like to remind our students that although they are no longer on campus and in the classroom, support is still available during the summer months.
While traditional campuses are closed for summer break, the CVUSD “One-Stop-Shop” can still be accessed from either the District website, or the homepage of your school website. This wonderful web section offers you invaluable resources in four specific areas: Harassment and Bullying; Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Support; Suicide Prevention; and, WeTip Reporting.
For students attending a summer program, bullying reporting can still be submitted using that school’s reporting form. Schools not open for a summer program will not have an active bullying form available.
We strongly encourage you to visit the website, look through the resources, and familiarize yourself with areas that may be helpful.
WHAT YOU’LL FIND THROUGH THE “ONE-STOP-SHOP”
Harassment and Bullying
Any student that has been a victim of, or witnessed bullying or harassment is highly encouraged to report the incident immediately to a school counselor, an administrator, staff member on campus, or via the Harassment and Bullying webpage. An electronic form is available online for students to submit a complaint. The submitted form is immediately routed to the appropriate staff to begin a thorough investigation and provide necessary support to parties involved.
Social, Emotional, and Mental Health
CVUSD has provided valuable resources to support your social, emotional, and mental health. Not only can you connect with your school MTSS-B Program Counselor, but you can also explore various free programs available for your overall well-being.
Suicide Prevention
If you, or someone you know is experiencing depression, social isolation, or needs assistance coping with a suicidal crisis or emotional distress, you can reach out to trusted providers ready to assist you with your struggle. Through the Suicide Prevention webpage, you can access crisis hotlines that provide assistance 24/7/365, counseling services, case management resources, and upcoming suicide prevention events. Also, contacting the Suicide Prevention Lifeline has become easier. In addition to calling the national hotline at 1-800-273-TALK, callers can now dial 988 to reach valuable resources.
Anonymous Reporting
See something, say something! If you know or hear of anyone who has committed a crime or is engaged in suspicious or illegal activities, we strongly encourage you to report it through WeTip. Anonymous reports can be made 24/7/365 either by calling the WeTip hotline dedicated solely to the Chino Valley Unified School District at (844) 909-0224 or visiting the WeTip website.
You are the greatest asset of the Chino Valley Unified School District, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our dynamic district community. Wishing you a restful, rejuvenating, and relaxing summer!
